State Priorities

• Develop competency/standard-based articulation options at all levels (e.g., apprenticeship, child development associate/CDA, associate, baccalaureate, graduate) as a part of a comprehensive personnel development infrastructure
• Increase the number of quality inclusive practica placements, which may include developing standards for quality inclusive sites
• Increase opportunities to learn from diverse families through increased use of family voices in preservice education and emphasis on family empowerment and family-centered practices
