![]() America's Children in Brief 2004 Since 1997, the Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics has published America’s Children: Key National Indicators of Well-Being, a report that includes detailed information on a set of key indicators of child well-being. A new brief version, that highlights selected areas including economic security, health, behavior and social environment and education, is now available at http://childstats.gov/ac2004/intro.asp. Detailed data tables are also available at http://childstats.gov/ac2004/toc.asp. In addition, the Brief (2.43 mb) is available in pdf format (http://childstats.gov/ac2004/pdfindex.asp). The data related to young children, particularly in the Education section, are very interesting.
