This library contains both print and video materials that are available to parents and professionals within the state. You may access these materials by calling the library at 1-800-962-6817, ext. 13 or by email to ecaclibrary@ecacmail.org.

Raising Awareness about Early Childhood Inclusion
Video Clip from Voices For Change
Partnerships for Inclusion promotes broad-based community forums to raise awareness about early childhood inclusion and transitions. Voices for Change is a video that provides a glimpse of what such an event looks like along with information about key elements of a forum. To see a short clip of the video, click below. If you'd like to borrow the video, contact Dave Sanel at (919) 843-8041.
Forums serve as a springboard for community planning to increase and improve early childhood inclusion. PFI inclusion specialists continue to work with communities after the forum to help in the continued development and implementation of their plans for improving services.
Promoting Smooth Transitions
PFI also helps communities sponsor forums on transition.
Professionals and families organize the event which brings together agency staff and parents to share their experiences, perspectives, and ideas about helping children make successful transitions between the hospital and the home, and into infant/toddler programs, preschools, and kindergartens.
