Susan provides technical assistance to support early childhood inclusion in Southeastern North Carolina. She works with a variety of individuals and groups including families, child care providers, early intervention agencies, preschool staff, and resource and referral agencies. Services are provided on site with an emphasis on addressing the particular needs of the individual, program, or community. Susan joined PFI after teaching in the Early Childhood Department at Southeastern Community College in Columbus County, NC. While there, she also coordinated a Smart Start Enhancement Project. A lifelong resident of Whiteville, Susan enjoys living in her hometown with her husband, two sons, and other members of her multi-generational family. She spends much of her non-work time with church and community activities. |
