Brenda is a transplanted Philadelphian who lives in Fuquay-Varina with her son Elijah. Brenda has managed the overall clerical/office affairs of the project from its beginning. Working closely with Director Brenda Dennis, she also monitors the project's budget. Brenda retired September 2005, but works part-time with the project. Since being with PFI, she realizes the importance of an inclusive environment for all children with and without special needs and their families.

Apart from the project, Brenda is very active in her community and church. She enjoys singing, decorating, working with the teenagers at her church and day outings with Elijah.

One of Brenda's proud accomplishments is being the co-founder/director of the nation's oldest Children's Choir that celebrates Martin Luther King's birthday. The nationally acclaimed MLK All Children's choir performs each year at Raleigh's Martin Luther King day celebration.
