Carla has been involved in the field of early childhood and family support for close to 30 years. Her experiences include working as a preschool and toddler teacher, facilitator of parent groups, early childhood instructor, trainer, and project coordinator of numerous research projects all of which focused on enhancing quality of life for families and children. Carla and her husband David were born and raised in Canada (the cold part) and lived in a number of states before settling in Chapel Hill where they raised their now, young adult children, Sarah and Joel. Carla considers her family a 'blended' family appreciating their Canadian heritage and growing southern roots. You can catch her ending her sentences with 'eh' and 'ya'll' ! |
