State Activities and Materials: Family Outcomes
The materials below have been created by states to meet their specific needs in measuring family outcomes. These materials are available for states to use as examples and to assist in their efforts related to fmaily outcomes measurement. Additional resources will be provided as they become available.
State-developed materials designed specifically for parents (e.g. letters to parents, brochures about outcomes, etc), can be found on the Informing Parents page.
Connecticut
- Accountability and Monitoring for Family Survey Data Analysis. This site provides three versions of an online presentation demonstrating how to analyze family data using MS Excel Pivot tables. The e-learning modules were designed to help local EI programs learn at their own pace and analyze their own Birth to Three Family Survey data.
Minnesota
Minnesota has developed a number of translations of the Family Outcomes Survey for Part C. Special thanks to Lisa Backer and Minnesota Part C for providing these translated versions. Word versions are available upon request from staff@the-eco-center.org.

- Team for Early Childhood Solutions. Provides resources for improving family outcomes in the three outcome areas: families knowing their rights, communicating children's needs, and helping children develop and learn. Resources are also provided on delivering family-centered services.
