Developing Child Web Site and Resources

The National Scientific Council on the Developing Child, a multidisciplinary collaboration comprising many of the nation's leading scientists in early childhood and early brain development, is committed to the value of sound and accurate science as a foundation for enlightened action. One function of the Council will be translating research findings for multiple audiences and identifying evidence-based strategies to guide social policies, professional services, and parenting practices.

To this end, the Council has recently launched a web site (http://www.developingchild.net/), where you may now view the Council's first Working Paper, Young Children Develop in an Environment of Relationships, at http://www.developingchild.net/papers/paper_1.pdf.
