Free Publications on Children's Health Insurance
Spring 2003

"Health Insurance for Children" is the topic of the spring 2003 issue of The Future of Children, a journal published by the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. It discusses the current state of children's health insurance and examines options for reform. This issue includes sections on program design, marketing concerns and creative solutions currently being tested by state and local governments. The Foundation has produced two companion publications. The first, Health Insurance for Children: A Synopsis, distills key points of each article in Health Insurance for Children and includes selected graphics and a bibliography. The second, Health Insurance for Children: Issues and Ideas, is tailored for policymakers and includes information on key issues, promising programs and resources.
All three publications are available in their entirety on the Web.
