Diversity Resources for Faculty, Trainers and Programs

Interested in resources that address key areas of early childhood or early intervention content AND diversity? Would you like to find videos, articles, syllabi and other resources for increasing how you emphasize cultural and linguistic diversity in your work? The Crosswalks Toolbox, an interactive database designed to connect faculty and trainers with resources that address both content and diversity, is now available to support your work at http://www.fpg.unc.edu/~scpp/crosswalks/toolbox/search.cfm

There are seven different ways to search and use the Crosswalks Toolbox.

1. Search by title, author, publisher or key word.
2. Search by topic to find resources clustered under 21 popular areas.
3. Search by standard/domain to find resources clustered by major national early childhood frameworks (NAEYC Early Childhood Professional Development Standards, DEC Recommended Practices, CEC/DEC Content Standards, National Board of Professional Teaching Standards)
4. Select an aspect of diversity to find resources on a specific topic (e.g., linguistic diversity)
5. Select a tool type to find specific kinds of instructional tools (e.g., teaching cases, syllabi, activities)
6. Search by resource type to find materials in a particular format (e.g., videos, articles) to purchase or download.
7. Click on "List all ONLINE resources" to get a list of everything you can access online.
