FPG Families Featured in RWJF Video and Report

The Farrington and Singleton families credit their children's experiences at FPG's Child Care Program with providing not only the skills in reading and writing that prepare children for kindergarten, but also the motor and social skills that are critical for succeeding in school.

Both families are featured in a new video and report produced by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Commission to Build a Healthier America. The Commission is investigating how factors outside the health care system - such as education and housing - shape and affect opportunities to lead healthy lives. It is charged with recommending solutions for improving how long and how well Americans live.
