Taking Evidence-Based Practice to Scale

FPG's Technical Assistance Center on State Implementation and Scaling Up of Evidence-Based Practices (SISEP) has released four new briefs on the following topics: Scaling Up Evidence-Based Practices in Education; Intensive Technical Assistance; Readiness for Change; and Implementation: The Missing Link Between Research and Practice. FPG Team Assumes SRCD Editorship

A team of investigators at FPG will assume editorship of the Social Policy Report (SPR) published by the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD). Editorial team members are Sam Odom, Donna Bryant, Kelly Maxwell, and Oscar Barbarin. Published quarterly, the SPR is designed to summarize policy implications of child development research. It is disseminated to over 100,000 readers.

FPG-Led Sessions at NAEYC Professional Development Institute, June 2009

Charlotte, NC — FPG researchers and staff will lead multiple sessions at the upcoming National Institute for Early Childhood Professional Development to be held at the Charlotte Convention Center, June 14-17, 2009, and sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Sessions led by FPG personnel include:
