Plug In Software for Documents, Presentations and Spreadsheets

If you clicked on a link to a Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect, PowerPoint, or Excel file and a viewer application did not open to display the contents, you may need to have a viewer installed on your computer. Listed below are links to the most common viewers and how to download them.

Adobe Acrobat Reader Download free Adobe® Reader® software to view, print, and search Adobe PDF files.
View 3D content, Macromedia® Flash® (SWF) animations, and Windows Media clips in your Adobe PDF documents.
Find and retrieve any Adobe PDF document or a phrase in a document.

Download the free Foxit PDF software to view, print, and search Adobe PDF files.

Microsoft Word / Corel WordPerfect Viewer This plug in lets you open Word documents for Microsoft or Macintosh. You can open files with the formats; Word (.doc), Rich Text Format (.rtf), Text (.txt), Web Page (.htm, .html, .mht, .mhtml), WordPerfect 5/6 (.doc, .wpd), Works 6/7 (.wps) and XML (.xml). You can view, print, and copy the contents to another program. However, you cannot edit, save or create. This viewer replaces all previous Word Viewers.

Microsoft Excel Viewer This plug in lets you open, view, and print Excel workbooks, without having Microsoft Excel installed. You can copy data from this viewer to another program. However, you cannot edit data, save a workbook, or create a new workbook. This viewer replaces all previous Excel Viewers.

Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer This plug in lets you view presentations created in Microsoft PowerPoint. You can view and print presentations, but you cannot edit them. The PowerPoint features that are not supported: Information Rights Management (IRM) presentations

Plug In Software for Multimedia Players

If you clicked on a link to an audio/video file and a media player did not open to start the recording, you may need to have a media player installed on your computer. Listed below are links to the most common players and how to download them.

Windows Media Player If your system does not have Windows Media Player, you can view minimum and recommended system requirements and download a free Windows Media Player.

Quicktime & iTunes Media Player If your system does not have iTunes, you can visit the Apple Website and download Quicktime and iTunes. The system requirements are listed just below the "Free Download" button.

Real Player If your system does not have a Real Player, you can view minimum and recommended system requirements and download a free Real Player, or if your system is running OS X, get the latest RealOne Player for Macintosh.
NOTE: If you use DISHPlayer 500, MSN TV Service (WebTV), UltimateTV, or Plus, your system already supports versions of RealMedia. For more information about MSN TV Service (WebTV), visit the WebTV help pages.

Macromedia Flash Player The Macromedia Flash Player is a multiple-platform client. Web users must download and install the player in order to view and interact with Macromedia Flash content. Macromedia distributes Macromedia Flash Player through Microsoft, Apple, Netscape, Novell, TurboLinux, RedHat and AOL. Macromedia Flash Player is pre-installed in several web browsers and on many computers. It is included in Windows XP and Apple Macintosh operating systems.

Macromedia Shockwave Player The Shockwave Player allows you to view interactive web content like demonstrations and training from your web browser.
