Accessibility Statement

FPG's mission is to cultivate and share the knowledge necessary to enhance child development and family well being. Through a variety of grants and contracts, we conduct research and provide outreach services to a variety of audiences around the nation and the world, including parents, service providers, researchers, and administrators. To fulfill this mission and provide outreach services our information must be accessible to the general public.

FPG is committed to providing reasonable accommodations so that the general public with or without disabilities may, as independently as possible, access information provided on any of our FPG Web sites. To facilitate this goal, this site strives to conform to the "W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 1.0.

In addition, to help move Web technologies forward – towards improved accessibility, security, and functionality, FPG supports the W3C's Web standards initiative, which encourages users to upgrade their older browsers to newer versions in order to benefit from these standards. Visitors who continue to use older browsers will see a much simpler presentation, and though the content may appear different, it will still be readily accessible.

Finally, we have done our best to ensure the site renders consistently across different computers, browsers, and other Web browsing interfaces. However, if you experience problems accessing the content on any of the many FPG Web sites, please contact the FPG Webmaster .
