The National Professional Development Center on Inclusion (NPDCI) is working with states to create a system of high quality, cross-agency professional development for early childhood personnel to support inclusion.

NPDCI's work has several unique features.

• It is based on a theoretical and conceptual framework related to systems change.
• The work aligns professional development with teacher and program standards and child and family outcomes.
• NPDCI relies on an evidence-based practice approach to professional development.
• It serve as catalyst to bring together existing professional development initiatives.
