This website contains the information that NCEDL has collected through a survey on public school involvement in pre-k programs. Please review the information on this website, paying closest attention to the information regarding your state. The first number on each state profile indicates the total number of 4 year old children in the state, (according to the 1999 U.S. Census report). If we have been unable to gather data about a certain program, we have indicated this by placing two asterisks (**) next to the question.
